FELIX’S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Ed is an elephant. He is very big. He is the color gray. Ed has a friend. His friend’s name is Felix. Felix is a mouse. He is very small. He is also the color gray.

Friday is Felix’s birthday. Ed wants to prepare a fantastic birthday party for Felix for his birthday.

First, Ed invites all of Felix’s family and friends. He invites them by texting their phones.

Then, Ed goes to the supermarket to buy food. He buys sodas, hamburger, fruit, salad and a lot of cheese. Felix is a mouse and he likes cheese a lot.

Ed also goes to the party store. In the party store he buys decorations for the house. He buys balloons and streamers to decorate the house. He also buys a piñata with candy inside.

Ed takes everything he bought to the house. He uses the balloons and streamers to decorate the house. He puts the piñata in the middle of the room.

Ed looks at the house with the balloons, streamers and piñata. He thinks it is perfect for a party. Then he looks at the food. He has soda to drink and hamburgers, fruit, salad, and a lot of cheese to eat.

Ed is very happy with his progress. The guests arrive at the house. The guests have birthday presents for Felix. They put the presents on a table. Then, they look at the decorations and the piñata. They are very impressed. The guests look at all the food and all the cheese and are even more impressed. Then a small mouse asks, “Where is the cake?”

Ed is ashamed. He forgot the cake! Ed runs to the kitchen and looks for the ingredients for a cake. He looks for chocolate, vanilla, flour, sugar and eggs. Ed moves very quickly for a big elephant.

Ed combines all of the ingredients and puts the cake in the oven just in time because a person knocks on the door.

Ed opens the door and all of the guests shout, “Surprise!”

Felix is very surprised. Felix sees all of his family and friends, the decorations, the food and all of the cheese. Then Felix asks, “Where is the cake?”

Ed goes to the kitchen. The cake is ready! But the cake is not pretty. It needs decorations, but it is very hot. So Ed says it is time to break the piñata.

All the guests watch while Felix tries to break the piñata. After five tries, Felix hits the piñata and it breaks. The candy from the piñata falls to the ground. The guests shout and take the candy that falls from the broken piñata. Then Felix looks at Ed and asks, “Where is the cake?”

Ed goes to the kitchen. The cake is still very hot and it needs more time. So, Ed has an idea. Ed says that it is time to open presents. All of the guests give presents to Felix. Felix is very happy when he sees all the presents. He opens the presents very quickly. He receives a lot of cheese. After he opens his presents, Felix looks at Ed and asks, “Where is the cake?”

Ed goes to the kitchen. The cake is not hot now. Ed decorates the cake. He is an expert in decorating cakes. He decorates the cake with flowers and trees. The cake is very pretty. Ed takes the cake and walks to the living room.

Ed announces, “Here is the ca-!” Ed doesn’t finish the word “cake” because he falls with the cake. The cake is destroyed!

The little mice cry because the cake is destroyed. Ed is also very sad. There is chocolate cake all over the living room. It is a disaster.

“I’m sorry, Felix,” Ed says sadly.

“It’s okay, friend,” Felix responds.

Ed doesn’t think that it is okay. It is his friend’s birthday and he wants a perfect party. So, Ed has an idea.

The guest dance to music and eat the hamburgers, fruit, salad and cheese. Ed runs to the supermarket. After ten (10) minutes, Ed returns to the house.

“Happy birthday, Felix!,” he yells. “I have your present.”

Felix opens the present and sees a cheesecake.

“It’s my favorite cake! Thanks, friend,” Felix says. “This party really is perfect!”

The end.
